Hi, Welcome to the group. This is a great place for networking with other parents/caregivers.
I am so glad to hear he is doing well. Children can sometimes surprise us.
I think it is awesome that you took your grandson in.

mY CHILD IS DIAGNOSED WITH PDD, ADHD, PTSD, AND OCD.
If you'd like, please share a little bit about yourself and your child/children.
My child is actually my grandson who was born 6 weeks premature to a mother(my daughter-who is bi-polar, not on meds, and had no pre-natal care, drank, used cocaine and other drugs through her pregnanacy0. My grandson was born with cocaine in his system and spent his 1st 10 days in the hospital then went to foster care in another state for 5months until I could get custody. He is now 10 years old. He was taken out of LS classs this year and only goes to LS classes for Reading and Math. He is doing much better than I ever expected.
If you'd like, please share something fun, cool, or notable about yourself.
I love children and I love to do messy, goey hands on things. I also love cooking and gardening...I guess they are more goey things, too. The beach is my idea of heaven and can calm your head, your heart, your mind, and your spirit.
