At 10:46am on April 3, 2009, Krisi said…: We wheel his regular wheelchair down the wooden path that leads out onto the sand. My husband carries him onto the beach and we sit him in a low beach chair so his feet touch the sand. It's a little bit of work getting everything down to beach area! :)

Do you mind if I ask how you handle getting him on the beach? We have just planned a trip to Myrtle Beach and I am just concerned about getting my son (who is 5) and a seat for him onto the beach. I have seen the wheelchairs that can be taken onto the sand but they are very expensive.

I am a stay at home mom. Love spending time with both of my boys. Our favorite thing to do as a family is go on vacation to the beach!
