We are getting Christian switched to the Barber National Institute for school pretty soon! Family based is starting for the youngest. Things are moving along!

We are having a guest speaker at our next Parent Support Group meeting at Camp Friendship discussing Autism. It will be Tuesday October 6th from 6:30 to 8:30pm in Reynoldsville. Come if you can :)

Christian is off to the GI specialist next month. Acid reflux. He has had an up and down summer. Hope everyone is having a great summer!

HI everyone ! We did the Autism Walk on Presque Isle and it was hot that day. But we all finished and the oldest was a trooper and walked along with me. We are in a pretty calm place right now. Hope all is well with you guys.

Hi family hope you guys had a good time @ the zoo on 4/19/09 and those who didn't register for sesame place its not to late go on the variety club web page and register for your free tickets for 4/25/09 Autism awareness day or 4/26/09 for special needs day two days full of fun. Just found this sight. My daughter is 4 - Autisic and Diabetic. Sleep issues too - The blood sugar issues don't help us there. I'm probably jumping in late on this conversation, but ...My daughter has been on a melatonin supplement for almost a year. Although she only sleeps about 4 - 5 hours at a clip w/it...Bedtime is a breeze and the evening wake ups only last a few minutes. We are big fans.

We didn't have a better day sorry to say. Off the med and on Melatonin and he was up at 4:30. It will be Friday before we try something new. But he was calmer this morning.....

I am headed to Meadville to Project for Peace on Saturday. The boy has been crazy with puberty and the weather . We had snow yesterday. ughh He has been escorted by male teachers to his classroom in the morning. They switched his sleep med and that made him even more aggressive. I split it in half last night and he slept and was much calmer this morning. Pray for a good day.
